As part of the weekly research here at The Acquirer’s Multiple we’re always interested in investing gurus who hold the same stocks that appear in our Acquirer’s Multiple Stock Screeners, based on their latest 13F’s. Investors such as Warren Buffett, Joel Greenblatt, Carl Icahn, Jim Simons, Prem Watsa, Jeremy Grantham, Seth Klarman, Ray Dalio, and Howard Marks.

While doing this research we’ve also uncovered a number of common stocks that investing gurus have recently bought, or continuing to hold in their portfolios, according to their latest 13f’s. This week we’ll take a look at:

Uber Technologies Inc (UBER)

Uber Technologies is a technology provider that matches riders with drivers, hungry people with restaurants and food delivery service providers, and shippers with carriers. The firm’s on-demand technology platform could eventually be used for additional products and services, such as autonomous vehicles, delivery via drones, and Uber Elevate, which, as the firm refers to it, provides “aerial ride-sharing.” Uber Technologies is headquartered in San Francisco and operates in over 63 countries with over 150 million users who order rides or food at least once a month.

A quick look at the price chart below for the company shows us that the stock is up 54.47% in the past twelve months.
