At last week’s MIT Sloan Annual Investment Conference, Barry Ritholz had a opportunity to have a fireside chat with investing legend Peter Lynch. During the conversation Lynch spoke about when is the right time to buy. Here is a excerpt from that conversation:
Lynch: “When things go from crappy to semi-crappy”, and he points out “that’s a technical term, that’s when you buy. Don’t buy crappy. Cheap stocks suck”, he says. “But once things begin to improve, that’s when you can buy it.”
