Tobias Carlisle is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Carbon Beach Asset Management LLC. He’s also the founder of the best deep value investing website, Greenbackd and this website, The Acquirer’s Multiple. Plus, he’s the author of one of the best books ever written on value investing, Deep Value: Why Activists Investors and Other Contrarians Battle for Control of Losing Corporations.

However, the combination of options with a value investing approach can mitigate large macro level risks if conditions start to deteriorate.
